Red card for „Loi Travail“ in France

All the versions of this article: [Deutsch] [English] [Español] [français]

The Alter Summit network and its member organizations want to express their full support and solidarity to the French social movements in their struggle for the withdrawal of the Loi Travail.

All of us, active in many European countries, know well what consequences such « reforms » bare. As in Germany with Agenda2010, and later Greece, Romania, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Ireland... and today in Belgium, these « neccessary reforms » materialize in our lives. Precarity is mainstream specially for the young generations, working conditions worsen day by day, unemployment grows and flexibility becomes the norm.

The Loi Travail is a part of the reform program carried by national governments and European Institutions. A program attacking methodically one by one the rights of all populations and that will continue to do so if an important resistance do not stop it. Under such a view, the resistance of the French social movement has a central importance for all our struggles.

We also want to denounce vigorously the criminalisation of the protest as well as the media propaganda trying to divert the public opinion of the real objectives of this reform.

We call to hold solidarity actions during the action days planned in France on 23rd and 28th of June. Find a flyer in several languages below.

Thank you to share widely this call and sent informations about actions to info@altersummit.eu.
